Jedet at the 10th edition of the Feroz Awards
At the Feroz Party 2023, held in the early hours of Sunday morning at the Espacio Ebro in Zaragoza, a man and a woman reported having suffered sexual assaults. The alleged facts have occurred between 04.00 and 06.00 hours this Sunday and the Family and Women Unit (UFAM) of the National Police is in charge of investigating what happened.

Shortly afterwards, one of the names of the victims was discovered: the well-known actress Jedet. Despite her desire for anonymity in this affair, her name was published and was all over the news.

For its part, the City Council of Zaragoza has expressed its «absolute condemnation and repulsion to any sexual assault», stressing its confidence in the investigations that are already underway and that these can clarify what happened as soon as possible.

The director of »Mi vacío y yo», Adrián Silvestre, has assured this Monday that he is not involved with any of the two alleged sexual assaults reported at the Feroz Awards after many pointed to him as another of the alleged aggressors, and has asked for respect for his right to honor even though he considers that the damage that is being generated by linking him with the facts «is already being irreparable».

In a thread on his Twitter profile, Silvestre has regretted having been splashed by the events that occurred at the party after the Feroz gala. «I did not witness the events for which Javier Pérez Santana was arrested. I was not present during the altercation with the actress, the arrival of the Police nor the subsequent arrest. It was not until the next day that I learned of what happened, through the press,» explained Silvestre.

Silvestre also stressed that anyone who knows his work and career knows how sensitive he is to issues of sexual violence, which, he said, he condemns «categorically». In this sense, he has expressed that he hopes that the law clarifies the facts denounced as soon as possible and has claimed that the right of honor towards his person is respected. «The damage done to me, my family and my career is already irreparable,» he warned.
Jedet remains silent
For its part, the Spanish Association of Cinematographic Informers (AICE) has expressed its »repudiation» and has strongly condemned the sexual aggressions: »The security team of the event intervened as soon as they knew about the incident, isolating the aggressors and assisting the victims,» it said in a statement, in which it pointed out that police presence was immediately requested. Once what happened is clarified, the alleged perpetrators of this unfortunate event will be banned from the Feroz Awards and all activities organized by the IAEC,» the association has guaranteed.
Jedet’s friends respect his privacy
In the midst of the media hype, Andrea Compton, youtuber and influencer, arrived in the capital after a weekend full of emotions. The friend of the actress wanted to respect her wishes not to give details of what may or may not have happened during the previous night. Faced with questions from the press, she limited herself to saying «I’m not going to talk about that» when asked about how she was feeling or if she herself witnessed what happened.
