Austin Butler’s big break
Actor Austin Butler had a career strongly linked to youth and children’s narratives, an image from which he has been gradually detaching himself, but it was not until he landed the starring role in »Elvis» that his work as an actor was recognized worldwide.
More than five months of character preparation
The actor has given the best of himself to play Elvis Presley, so much so that he spent more than five months preparing the character, working and rehearsing directly with the director. Long months of work in which he had to correct his attitude and interpretation, even his body movements and physical preparation to give life to the king of rock and roll.
12 weeks to create the main film set
It took more than 12 weeks in the film’s production to build the main film set space for »Elvis,» Bale Street in Memphis, Tennessee. All of this time was spent building the space and perfecting it for maximum authenticity. The exact reconstruction of what the space looked like in the 50s, 60s and 70s was done, including the cars. It took the acquisition of more than 300 vehicles for the filming of the movie.
