Bad news for Marvel fans, and the year begins with very alarming news due to the health condition of Jeremy Renner. The 51-year-old actor, known for giving life to Hawkeye in ‘Hawkeye’ or ‘The Avengers’ is in critical but stable condition after suffering an accident while removing snow at his home in Nevada.
Variety magazine broke the sad news: «We can confirm that Jeremy is in critical but stable condition with injuries sustained after having a weather-related accident while clearing fallen snow. His family is with him and he is receiving excellent care.»
However, more is not known about the actor’s current condition, as no further details have been released about the injuries Renner has sustained or the type of treatment he is receiving. The accident occurred when the star was using heavy machinery in order to remove snow surrounding his home in the Sierra Nevada, a well-known area between the border of California and Nevada.
An idyllic vacation has turned into a misfortune for the family, who have been affected by the winter storms that have covered the area with snow. The local sheriff’s office also issued a statement with the facts: «At approximately 9 a.m. on January 1, 2023, the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office responded to a traumatic injury in the area of Mt. Rose Highway in Reno, Nevada».
Coincidentally, in recent weeks Jeremy had shared shocking images of the U.S. winter storm on his social media. «Snowfall in Lake Tahoe is no joke,» he wrote on his Twitter account on Dec. 12 when he posted a photo of a vehicle completely covered in snow.
